Capturing The Evolution Of The Branch: A Conversation With The Army Cyber School Historian

Mr. Scott Anderson has had a varied career as an historian. Currently he is the historian for the Army Cyber School and the Cyber branch at the Cyber Center of Excellence at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. In this interview, Mr. Anderson discusses how he helps document, capture, record, and interpret history in support of the Army's newest branch. He also explains how he uses and applies history to help soldiers become creative thinkers and develop character. Finally, he talks about his previous assignments as an historian with Naval History and Heritage Command, and with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command in Hawaii, where he used the analytical skills of his discipline to generate leads to help identify and recover America's fallen service members.
