“Very Few Things In Life Are Final”: Making The Honor System A Developmental Process

In this second interview with MG(R) Michael Nardotti, he focuses on his experience as an Army JAG, and with the honor system at West Point. He discusses some of the difficulties Cadets have with the honor system, including disciplining peers and the toleration clause. Reflecting upon the Class of 1977 Honor Scandal and his role in the investigation as a new JAG (Judge Advocate General) officer, he explains how the honor system has transitioned from a rigid system into a more developmental one.
