Andrew Hall

Description

COL Andrew Hall is a 1991 graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. He is a Cyber branch officer and currently serves as the Director of the Army Cyber Institute at West Point. In this interview he discusses his path from Infantry officer and Ranger School to helping create the newest branch of the Army. He shares his candid thoughts on the recruitment and retention of cyber soldiers, the role of uniformed versus cyber civilians, the unique training, professional development, and clearance demands of Army hackers, and whether or not cyber warriors should have blue hair.
