On April 24, 2015, the director of the West Point Center for Oral History and the Head of the West Point Department of History visited Columbia University’s Center for Oral History and discussed best practices and outreach. The exchange was very rewarding and will lead to increased coordination with Columbia University and other leaders in the field of Oral History. The Director of Columbia University’s Center, Dr. Mary Marshall Clark, helped us better understand the exciting field of Oral History. Continuing to develop a relationship with Columbia University will only strengthen the West Point Center for Oral History.
