From Air Defense Officer To Entertainment Pioneer

William H Roedy, Jr.

Description

Bill Roedy is a member of the class of 1970. He served from 1970 until 1977 as an Air Defense Artillery officer, and his service included a tour in Vietnam and command of nuclear missiles in Italy. Following his Army service, Bill attended Harvard Business School, worked as a vice president of HBO, and as chairman and CEO of MTV Networks International. In this interview, he describes his experiences at West Point, leadership lessons from his time in the Army, and his work with HBO and MTV.
