“Reach for Tomorrow”: A West Point Family’s Legacy

Kirsten (Rowe) Harr

Description

Kirsten (Rowe) Harr is the third of the four Rowe children to graduate from West Point. She served at West Point as an Outreach Admissions Officer. In this interview, Kirsten (Rowe) Harr discusses her path to West Point, following her father and two older sisters, while still making the experience her own. She shares very specific memories of being at the USMA Prep School in Ft. Monmouth, NJ during the 9/11 attacks on the United States, and how that influenced her thinking about service to the nation. Kirsten later returned to West Point as an Outreach Admissions Officer where she helped candidates realize similar goals to those she achieved at and after West Point.
